How we do things at Iskra.

We meet over brunch, games, walks and nights out. Here are a few things we ask of everyone, hosts included — at events and in messages.

Book a place. Show up.
Everyone needs their own confirmed booking, unless the event allows guests. Arrive on time and say hello to your host. Can’t make it? Cancel in My events as soon as you know.
Keep it social.
Come for the activity and the company. No sales pitches, recruiting, collecting contacts or adding people to other groups without asking. Meeting someone you like is fine; treating the event as a dating service isn’t.
Respect a no.
No pressure to drink, share a number, keep talking, meet alone or accept physical contact. If someone isn’t interested, leave it there. No harassment, threats, hate speech, discriminatory comments or unwanted sexual remarks or messages.
Ask before you share.
Get permission before sharing photos, messages, contact details or someone’s social profile. Keep the meeting address within the confirmed group.
Look after the place.
Follow reasonable instructions from your host and the venue. Drinking is optional; alcohol isn’t an excuse for aggressive, unsafe or disrespectful behaviour.
